Michael Vines (B.A. LLB)
Michael has lived in Ocean Grove since 1989 and is the former President of the town's football and netball club. He is also deputy chairman of the Ocean Grove Connected Community, which is involved with the local Bendigo Bank, and provides funds for projects and community support in the Ocean Grove area.
A partner for a large Geelong law firm for over 15 years, he moved to establish this practice at the end of 2003. Michael brings a wealth of experience across a broad range of legal practice but particularly in wills, estates, business sales,/purchases, crime, and commercial litigation. He is one of only 4 practitioners in the Geelong region on the Victorian Legal Aid Panel for serious criminal matters involving trials in the county and supreme courts.
Melanie Crowe (B.Com LLB)
Melanie has been a local on the Bellarine Peninsula for many years and a resident of Ocean Grove for the last 10 years. She is involved in the local community and was former President of the local Kindergarten, Woodlands pre-school for 4 years. She is currently President of the school committee at which her children attend. Melanie received her Bachelor of Law at Geelong's Deakin University and has practiced for the better part of 12 years with Geelong based law firms.
Melanie brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in a number of legal fields, more particularly in Commercial Litigation, Wills, Powers of Attorney and Estate Matters, including issues relating to challenging Wills. She is available to see clients on Mondays and Wednesdays between 10AM and 2PM.
Peter Lundberg (B.A. LLB)
Peter joined the firm in September 2011, after 30 years practicing as a lawyer in Geelong, initially with Phillip Considine as a partner, then later with the firms Doyle Considine and Harwood Andrews. In the past he has practiced mainly in the area of Family Law, including divorce, property disputes, maintenance, parenting arrangments for the care of children.
Family Law is of course a very personal area of law by virtue of the issues which arise from marriage breakdown. Peter offers a personalised serviceaimed at addressing ther individual clients needs. In all cases it is important for those involved to maintain a level of perspective about their predicament, and Peter is committed to finding a sensible solution to the parties problems within the limits set down by the law. If agreement cannot be reached informally, then Peter will provide advice about the steps to be taken to get the case into court.
On a personal level Peter and his family have lived in Barwon Heads then Ocean Grove for the last 30 years.
Peter is available for initial without charge consultation in Family Law matters. He is also available to see clients on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays by appointment.
Amanda Vines (B.A. LLB Dip Ed
Amanda divides her time between teaching legal studies and history at a girl’s secondary school in Geelong and her work at Vines Lawyers.
She brings a ‘female touch’ to the practice and can see clients for the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney out of hours if need be.
Jill is an experienced property conveyancer and has worked at the firm for a few years. She lives with her family on the Bellarine Peninsula
