Michael Vines (B.A. LLB)
Michael has lived in Ocean Grove since 1989 and is the former President of the town’s football and netball club and and also now recently the former President of the Bellarine Football League. He was also formerly deputy chairman of the Ocean Grove Community Connect, which is involved with the local Bendigo Bank, and provides funds for projects and community support in the Ocean Grove area. He has been active in sport over his life particularly as a cricketer and another of his interests is heritage railways-he was on the board and President of the Victorian Goldfields Railway.
A partner for a large Geelong law firm for over 15 years, he moved to establish this practice at the end of 2003. Michael brings a wealth of experience across a broad range of legal practice but particularly in wills, estates, business sales/purchases, leases,crime, family law, and commercial litigation. He is one of only 4 practitioners in the Geelong region on the Victorian Legal Aid Panel for serious criminal matters involving trials in the County and Supreme Courts. He is available to see clients by appointment on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons.
Amanda Vines (B.A. LLB Dip Ed)
Amanda previously divided her time between teaching legal studies and history at a girl’s secondary school in Geelong and her work at Vines Lawyers.Since retiring from teaching she can see clients for the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney by appointment on Tuesday mornings.
Barbara Hanna
Barbara is our experienced conveyancer who has recently joined the firm having previously worked for a legal practice in Geelong. She also has legal qualifications obtained from overseas. Barbara works in the office Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. In her spare time she enjoys yoga and exercise and has a young family.
